Privacy Policy

AllergyFlow is developed and operated by Oleksandr Prokhorov ("developer", "we", "our"). This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Data stored on your device

The following information is stored only on your iPhone and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Food diary entries (meals, ingredients, reaction notes)
• Your allergen list (unless you use AI Recipes — see below)
• App preferences and notification settings

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and stays on your device unless you choose to back it up via iCloud (subject to Apple's privacy policy).

2. Location data

AllergyFlow requests your location only while using the app to fetch local pollen levels from a third-party weather service. Your location is never stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties beyond the weather data request.

You can deny location access at any time in iOS Settings. The app will fall back to a default location for pollen data.

3. AI Recipes — allergen data

When you tap "Generate", your allergen list and selected meal preferences are sent to our server, which forwards the request to a third-party AI service to generate a recipe. This data is:

• Sent only when you explicitly request a recipe
• Not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking
• Not retained on our servers after the recipe is returned

The AI service processes your request under its own privacy policy. We do not share your name, email, or any identifier — only the allergen list and meal type you provide.

You can disable AI Recipes at any time in Settings → Privacy.

4. Analytics and crash reporting

AllergyFlow does not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA). Apple may collect anonymized crash and usage data through the App Store if you have opted in to sharing with developers in your iOS settings.

5. Your rights (EEA and UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Because AllergyFlow stores data on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing the app. For data related to AI recipe requests, email us at support@allergyflowapp.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

AllergyFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
